    Is there a booking fee?
    Only a one-time $10 registration fee on your first job, included in that job's price. There are no other booking fees.
    Do you do plumbing, electrical or gas work?
    No. We only arrange everyday, unskilled jobs. Electrical, plumbing, gas, structural and commercial kitchen hood work need a licensed trade, and we're happy to point you to one.
    What background check do Spotters have?
    Every Spotter must pass a vulnerable sector check before their first job. It's the most thorough police check available to the public in Canada, used for people who work with seniors, children and vulnerable people. We also verify photo ID and speak with every Spotter before approving them. Read more
    What is the Sign-Off Promise?
    You don't pay a cent until you've signed off that the job is done. If something isn't right, don't sign: tell us and we'll work it out before anyone is paid. Read more
    How much does it cost?
    Flat-price jobs start at the prices in our price guide (for example furniture assembly from $71 per item, lawn mowing from $59). Hourly jobs are charged at your Spotter's own rate, usually $30 to $55 an hour depending on the work. Your all-in price is confirmed before booking. Read more
    Can you help with events?
    Yes. Spotters set up before and reset after events: chairs, tables, decor, and cleanup. Typical halls up to about 150 guests need 2 or 3 Spotters. We don't serve food or alcohol or provide security. Read more
